HISTORY OF SOME PIONEERS OF THE TRADE IN COLOMBIA.
The following episode that, although it seems a fantasy on my behalf, it is a case
taken out of the real life, where partly, I am a witness of this events.
As in all story, many years ago... we say fifty seven or more years,
some peasants born in the Municipalities of Titiribí or Armenian Butter, I am not
very sure, they made commercial history; not only in Antioquia, in Colombia, if not in the one
whole world.
Around 1970, beside the river Cauca, under the branches of a leafy one
tamarind, and with the heat of of some liquors, Mr. Alberto Bull Farmer,
proprietor of the Treasury Arbolitos, brother of Don Gustavo founder of warehouses SUCCESS and main character of our
episode... it counts me the following history.

for inheritance, but rich for culture paisa.
They lived in the Municipality of Titiribí, where in an or another way they fought for
to subsist, but this means of life didn't fill its aspirations.
Suddenly in one of those family meetings where unlikely plans, you are made

One of the Bulls travels to Medellin, it visits the companies of textile and in their warehouses

They bring things for responsibility and to people of trust they trust to one or two months, and it is
here where he/she is born, the first warehouse with credit, so popular in
Medellin.
They follow this way it making for a lot of time, and every time they sell more and they go saving
pesos.
After a good time they already have with which to buy a small one local or store to the one

They can already have open the business every day, with more and better existences
of cloths, they add products of better quality, introducciendo goes
new elements of the popular consumption as, shoes, ruanas, kitchen furniture, pills for the one

The time goes happening and those peasants, the gentlemen Bull lived off this business,
they were concerned as some of the most prosperous merchants in the
population.
The years pass and the restlessness of these small merchants doesn't stop.
They buy a local big in the middle of heart of Medellin... The famous Guayaquil or
guayaco, as we tell him the paisas.
To this local they provide it in such a way that he/she takes the warehouse category with sales
bigger and to the detail.
I don't know of where they take out the name, but they put him warehouses " SUCCESS ".
The ascent in sales continues and they come the necessity to create another inside the city
but with better specifications and better services.
Then other and other, and as if this was little they leave watering for the whole country.
Today years 2009, I believe that the rural Bull has died, but they should be creating
store in the more allà.
Their example and verraquera paisa, they have left for present and future generations, a model
managerial, of like it becomes native.
Those secillos pieces that one day offered in the square of a rural town of
Antioquia, was the childbirth of that chain of warehouses that today they exist in colombia, being
quizàs stores " SUCCESS ", the prototype of bigger supermarkets of Colombia that gives employment
to some 45.000 people in direct form, and other points in form insinuation
The worthiest thing of admiring of this company, is that although their current owners are partners
multimillionaires, not for it, they have lost their altruistic character, and it leaves of their
earnings invest them in charity works for those that more
they need it, standing out The Foundation Success".
